Kia ora, my name is Sean Bragg and I currently work for Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu as a Geospatial Technician. I am originally from Bluff / Awarua where I spent most of my childhood before moving to the big smoke in Invercargill during my high school years. I’ve spent the past three years in Christchurch working for Ngāi Tahu, firstly as an intern for two years before securing myself a GIS role. I feel very privileged to be working in the GIS space and I see GIS as a tool that can be applied to many disciplines. I see the power in utilising GIS to create better outcomes for our iwi/whānau.  Working for my own iwi and an organisation that has such a diverse scope of mahi and GIS needs ensures that I am constantly learning new things!
